I've been manning YouTube for movie trailers. I'm a sucker for trailers. Before I see a movie, I make it a point to watch the trailer first not just to get the gist of the story, but to marvel on how producers and filmmakers lure us in. And it seems 2013 have a fair share of good movies, from Iron Man III, Despicable Me, Pacific Rim, and many more.

But the year is not yet done, so we are still looking forward to a lot of blockbusters. I'm gonna share FIVE of the most awaited films for this year.

1. Hunger Games: Catching Fire.(Novermber)

Yes, Katniss and Peeta are back to join the 75th Hunger Games!

2. 47 Ronin (December)

3. Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters

4. Mortal Instruments

5. Elysium

I'm sure there will be many more releases this year, so hold on to your seats and enjoy some 2013 movie marathon

I'm again saddened by the news I read last night. According to the reports of Yahoo! and ANC, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Service Administration (PAG-ASA) lost another employee. Penelope "Lola Baby" Famitangco, a 65-year old weather observer, suffered a stroke and died inside the comfort room of PAG-ASA.

The report stated that Lola Baby died without receiving her benefits. But what's more shocking news was she only takes home P 1,500.00 earnings. PAG-ASA is a round-the-clock agency. Meaning, people are working non-stop to watch the skies and cover the land. And yes, this is how our President treats his co-workers: delaying their benefits. The men and women of PAG-ASA has been pleading for increase on their pay and benefits. It seems that the government are busy buying ships than taking care of its own employees. Yes, that is the sad reality here in the Philippines. Middle class people were nothing but workers who's job is to provide tax for the government and its corrupt officials.

Rest in peace, Lola Baby. Wherever you are, I'm sure the weather is clear and sunny.
